Apparently, Tampa Bay Buccaneers star QB Tom Brady just made fan Byron Kennedy 1 Bitcoin richer as an additional payment for his 600th TD ball. Kennedy was the lucky fan who got his hands on Brady’s all-important ball on Sunday when WR Mike Evans accidentally handed it to him right after the play. And now, he’s getting paid.

A lot of folks have chimed in, saying that Kennedy should’ve kept the ball instead and simply held on to it but the fan was kind enough to actually return the ball to Tom Brady. It’s not easy to turn down a request from a seven-time Super Bowl champ but, as it seems, it’s definitely proving to be worth every penny.

Aside from all the freebies, he was initially promised in exchange, the Bucs star admitted to having added an additional gift to the Buccaneers fan which could potentially be more valuable down the line. According to journalist Jeff Eisenband, Brady told Peyton and Eli Manning that he gave Kennedy 1 Bitcoin which is roughly worth $63,000 right now.

This is turning out to be one heck of a deal for the 29-year-old Buccaneers fan.

Aside from a ton of Bucs memorabilia, and potentially a round of golf with Brady, Kennedy lucked out and received the biggest cryptocurrency in the market. As of writing, Bitcoin (BTC) has the biggest market cap in the entire crypto space at a whopping $1.1 trillion. BTC has been surging all year round and, just last week, it spiked to an all-time high of nearly $67,000.

For context, 1 BTC was only equivalent to around $13,000 last October 2020 further proving that this deal was definitely worth it for Byron Kennedy.
